On behalf of the Greater Wall Lake Association (GWLA), we extend our sympathies to the Deike family for the passing of Helen Deike. Helen was right by Terry's side as he helped protect Wall Lake while serving on the Board of the GWLA, and we are very grateful for her support throughout the years.

 

We have fond memories of Helen and Terry at the 2018 Greater Wall Lake Association Annual Member's Meeting at the Pierce Cedar Creek Institute. Terry worked very hard to make an excellent informational display about the Kayak The Wall event he created. Helen was there with him as enthusiastic as ever about all of the good work they had done together to make Wall Lake a nice place to live.

 

We are so very sorry the Deike family is having to bear this grief.

 

We will miss Helen very much.
