Kellogg Bird Sanctuary

Just down the road from Wall Lake exists a treasure.  The Michigan State University W. K. Kellogg Biological Station Bird Sanctuary.

In 1982 Joe Johnson, a biologist at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, surveyed Wall Lake's wetlands and testified in court about their immense value to Wall Lake.  Joe's research, and his testimony in court, helped protect our wetlands, and Wall Lake, from disaster.
