Photography Group

​The GWLA receives photographs submitted for display on our webpage.  Participants in the Photography Group are amateur photographer hobbyists who enjoy  informal camaraderie.

The GWLA appreciates photographs so please send us anything you think is of interest to our residents.  If anyone likes amateur hobby photography and wants to venture out in the area please contact us.

Our mission is to protect, preserve, and enhance the quality of Wall Lake and its watershed through the promotion of responsible and effective environmental and educational policies.

We are dedicated to preserving Wall Lake as a pristine legacy for future generations.

About Wall Lake

Wall Lake is a beautiful, crescent-shaped lake that lies in Hope Township, Barry County Michigan.  It is about 540 acres in size and its average depth is 15-20 feet.  There are some locations with a depth of approximately 40 feet.  There are about 320 homes and cottages around the lake.

The Michigan Riparian is a quarterly magazine devoted entirely to the sustainable management and wise use of Michigan's inland lakes and streams.​​

The GWLA Web site was designed and is maintained by Wall Lake Resident Ron L'Huillier on a volunteer basis.
